A close down lid on the top of the machine creates a sleek appearance and when raised has a threading guide and stitch reference on inside of the lid.
 
Stitches - total 22, including utility, blind hem, stretch, overcasting for neatening raw edges, decorative stitches and an automatic one step buttonhole (put the buttonhole in the back of the foot and it will do the exact size all one go).
 
Stitches are easily selected with the selector dial and can be adjusted in length and width. Stretch stitches are preset in length, but can be adjusted in width. Maximum stitch width 6 mm, maximum stitch length 4 mm.
 
When a stitch is selected the information panel on the front of the machine will advise a default setting for width, length and correct foot to use for that stitch.
 
Drop in bobbin - easier to thread as the bobbin case stays in the machine. It is also smoother and quieter.
 
Pressure foot adjustment - reduce or increase the amount of pressure applied to the fabric when the presser foot is down.
 
Extra high presser foot lift - lift the presser foot extra high to make it easier to slide thick fabrics under the foot.
 
Superior Feed System (SFS) - a 7 piece feed dog system that stays parallel as it moves up and down, keeping in constant contact with the fabric.
