The Janome Coverpro 20000 CPX is coverstitch and chain stitch machine, it is not an overlocker. It is the only way to acheive the professional hem finish on t-shirts.
 
The 3 thread coverstiitch works for flat stitching for hems and seams in elastic fabrics and is also suitable for flat seams, finishes with sandwiched or sewn on elastic, elastic binding and for the decorative topstitching.
 
The 2 thread chain stitch is ideal for stabilising seams, bindings, decorative effects and stitching. Use elastic thread in the chain looper which will then give you a highly elastic seam.
