Perfect needle for sewing lingerie including bras and highly elastic fabrics such as lycra and for sewing elastic in.
This needle is designed to be closer to the hook in the bobbin area thanks to a special flat shank, which makes it easier for the hook to pick up the thread loop.  This feature prevents skipped stitches, even when working with highly elastic fabrics. Combined with the larger eye and wider thread groove, you can use the Super Stretch needle with thicker sewing threads.
If you are struggling with skipped stitches on stretch fabrics whilst using a Jersey or Stretch needle, then switch to this one.
