Hi-Definition Quilting
NEW - Acustitch Regulator (ASR) -  Regulate the stitch length with free motion sewing, ideal for quilting.  3 different ASR feet- closed toe, open toe, clear view and the exclusive ruler work foot.  Plus, set the sensitivity of the foot sensor, adjusting the regulation as your build skills or if you are used to free motion.
 
Acufeed Flex Plus - Improving the exisiting system, engages / disengage the foot by touching the icon on the screen. Three options - Two pronged Acufeed for traditional sewing and quilting - single pronged Acefeed for installing zips or precise detail + HP2 Acefeed to work with HP plate (industrial style plate) for highest level of stitch quality and precise topstitching.
 
Professional Grade Needle plate, HP foot and HP2 foot - narrow gauge industrial type feet for curves and precise topstitching. They provide greater ease of control and superior visibility. Sized perfectly for 1/4" seams.
 
Easy one step swap between needleplates - push button, (front of machine), the needleplate will pop up. Remove plate, slide in different plate and push down.  Needleplate is changed and the machine sensors which plate has been put in.  
 
Ample Work area and Ergonomic Design
Seamless, heavy-duty powder-coated, all-metal flatbed offers an uninterrupted, large sewing area with 13.5 inches (343mm) to the right of the needle. 
 
Hi-Definition Sewing
Thumb Wheel - Located to the right of the needle. This industry first is a great convenience feature that lets you raise or lower the needle without having to reach over to the handwheel.
 
Stitches -850 built in stitches, including 13 styles of buttonholes (and with Stitch Composer your stitch count is infinite). Three fonts provide variety for decorative stitch monogramming.
 
9mm Zigzag - makes all the decorative or alphabet stitches bolder, brighter, and more distinct. Wider, more distinct stitches allow you to fill more area with stitching, quicker, saving you valuable time while sewing.
 
Stitches are easily selected by tapping the screen with your finger or stylus. Selected stitch is displayed on the screen and automatically sets to the right width and length.
Any adjusted and any changes are instantly shown on the screen including which foot to use for that stitch.
 
91 Needle Positions allows for  incredible fine adjustments in all stitch creations.
 
Variable Zigzag - enables precision control over the stitch width via the knee lift. Thread painters will rejoice at the ease of control of the stitch width. Begin with a straight stitch, then while the machine is still running, press against the knee lifter to widen your stitch to a 9mm Zigzag. Release pressure to gradually return to a straight stitch for a tapered finish. Ideal for free motioning.
 
Floating Mode - will not extend full pressure to the presser foot while feeding fabric. This protects delicate or high pile fabrics like velvet.
 
Metal Cloth Guide - attaches at the bobbin cover and extends the full length of the sewing machine bed to the right.
 
Auto presser foot lifter - presser foot raises and lowers automatically at the beginning and end of sewing. Can be adjusted and set to a pivot height. 
 
Sewing application - built in automatic settings for quick adjustments to the machine for specific sewing jobs or techniques. For example - select gather and the machine will automatically loosen the tension and change the stitch length instantly. No longer need to keep checking the manual for settings. Applications includes - seaming, overedge, blindhem/shell tuck, rolled hem zipper, gathering, basting (tacking), button sewing, applique, patchwork and quilting (free motion and standard)
 
Hi-Definition Embroidery

Extra-Large Embroidery Area - Our largest hoops and embroidery area ever! Our RE46d Hoop offers 280 x 460mm (11” x 18.1”) of embroidery area. Created with Carbon Fiber infused plastic, this large hoop is 10x stronger than metal!

Two Advanced Capacitive Touchscreens  - Edit, design and create on the large capacitive touchscreen, showing you the results in amazing clarity. The second screen, will allow you to fine-tune your stitches, tension, foot pressure and more!.
 
SFS-i, Intelligent Feed - designed to keep the feed dogs down and out of the way, making it easier to  position your fabric where you want it to be.  As soon as you start sewing, the feed dogs come up and perfectly grab the fabric.
 
Easy set drop in bobbin - no longer need to pull the thread up to the top before embroidering. Set the bobbin into the case, thread following guide. Replace bobbin cover, as you start to sew the bobbin thread is automatically picked up.
 
Independent Bobbin Winding Motor - Wind the bobbin whilst sewing. 
 
Optical Bobbin Sensor - M17 constantly monitor your bobbin thread supply while sewing, so that you will receive a warning as soon as the bobbin thread gets low.
